Shalya Tantra is best suited when the problem is just beyond medicinal repair. In cases like gud bhransh ( proplased rectum) , mutravrodh( retention of urine),arbud(abscess,cysts), ashmari (stones) , haemorrhoids (arsh) etc.

We have well equipped operation theatre. Students are taught kshar sutra preparation also. Students are allowed to practice suturing techniques on dead bodies.

Department has running OPD & IPD also.
